Okay, so this school called McEachern High School has a varsity winter guard that I am IN LOVE with. This video does not do it justice. The first time I watched them I lost my mind! The guard dropped their spins a lot more than they did when I watched them, but it was still amazing.
Guard is probably the best thing I’ve joined. It is pretty difficult and a lot of hard work, but it’s great. It is honestly one GIANT family. Some of us actually have roles. For instance, I have two daughters, two step-daughters, a wife, a sister, two daughter-in-laws, and a bunch of other family members that we haven’t formally established yet. This is the same in winter guard as well.
So…I’m changing this passion. I do plan on being a pediatrician, but I feel like I should write about something that does not involve something I dislike- school. That being said, my new passion is guard.
In all honesty, I don’t know what college I want to go to. I sadly have not started thinking about it until after PSATs. I was really unaware of my options because of the basic things like grades and money. I still do not have a specific college, but I have a few in mind thanks to this website my counselor recommended.
I was contacted by a a decent amount of colleges recently. I know that they send things to pretty much everyone who asks for information before taking the PSAT, but I did not expect the amount of emails I received
I got an invitation in the mail from the ESTU people yesterday. It really caught me off guard, it had a bunch of information about what we would be doing each day and how it would be such a great experience
This past month has been pretty interesting. Colleges have been emailing me like crazy and I’ve gotten a lot more mail than normal. The main reason for this is because I have given permission for schools to do this when I took the PSATs. I even got this email from ESTU which basically said that because of my GPA and my interest in the medical field, i am invited to go to Johns Hopkins in Maryland next summer. I personally would like to go, but it depends on the cost…
